Organ donation week 3rd September
03 September 2018
Currently three people die every day in need of an organ transplant, often because families haven’t discussed the subject and don’t know whether to consent to donation on behalf of their relative or not.
Next week, individuals and organisations across to UK will work to raise awareness for the importance of families discussing organ donation to decrease the shocking number of patients suffering.
The week of awareness will initiate conversation within communities, whilst NHS blood and transplant teams will attempt to light up buildings in pink.
Raise awareness within your organisation- and with loved ones- for the life-threatening issue which is often overlooked.
